The stress of the start of the work week should be relived a bit by this wonderful bit of down-tempo pop this Monday. Eva from The Cords and Archie Ingram from Stone Anthem are together as Foglights and this is the first taste of their upcoming EP.
"The Rain Felt Kind" sounds a little like the first Mazzy Star album, and a bit like Spacemen 3 or The Telescopes. It's lovely, haunting, and succinct. Something this simple and special shouldn't be belabored about by writers like this one so let's just say that the full EP from Foglights should be a highlight of our listening lives in August.
