Australian singer Carla dal Forno offers up both a lovely song and a clever video this week.
The breathy "Under The Covers" is from Carla's upcoming album Confession, and the video is a smart stop-motion effort based around Ruth O'Leary's artwork. The match here is a good one, with the song working very well with the tune. Whoever in Carla's PR team dug out the reference to AC Marias (remember them?) hit the nail on the head because this is a subtle, haunting tune built around hushed vocals and a simple, yet aching melody. Dig it!
