How cool is this?
The venerable 4AD imprint is putting out a World Cup-themed seven-inch single on May 22. Complicated Opposition features tracks from two of my favorite bands on the label and this is just a really great idea!
"World Cup Fever" from Unrest spin-off Air Miami's 1995 debut is here, as is "The Official Colourbox World Cup Theme" from the first self-titled mini-album from Colourbox in 1986. The two cuts both are football-inspired, and it's up to you guys to decide which is really the A side and which is the B side. They're both great songs, right?
