Whether you call it shoegaze or dream-pop, the style of music that so many of us love is truly a global phenomenon. From the other side of the planet to where I sit now, Indonesia's Strange Fruit are prepping a new EP, and have offerred up "Iridescent", a superb slice of goodness.
The cut, the first taste of the band's upcoming Drips EP, is reminiscent of the best material from bands like Seefeel and Cranes. The percolating rhythms of the track give this a cool energy, and the breathy vocals and spacious synths give this a truly ethereal vibe. I hope you dig it as much as I do!
