What a pleasant surprise this is! Saint Etienne, fresh from one of their very best albums with 2024's The Night, are back with a brand new single!
Saint Etienne are offering up this first taste of what they've said will be their final album. And while International won't be here until September, we can groove with this wildly upbeat gem. Co-written by Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers, and featuring Jez Williams of Doves on guitar, the cut is a delight. The video, directed and edited by Scrub, features dancers and a house party that fit the vibe of the number.
I really can't stress enough how much this one brightened my entire mood. Here's hoping that Bob Stanely, Pete Wiggs, and Sarah Cracknell have a few more tricks up their sleeves in the accompanying full-length record.
