Noel Gallagher Is Now Officially A Solo Artist

Noel Gallagher held a press conference in London this morning to make official what everyone already suspected: he plans to release music as a solo artist.

The first of supposedly 2 already-recorded albums will be out in the UK in October and in the US on 8 November through Sour Mash Records/Mercury Records.

Titled Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, the record's track listing is as follows:

"Everybody's On The Run"

"Dream On"

"If I Had A Gun..."

"The Death of You and Me" -- (about Liam, I wonder?)

"(I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine" -- (long rumored to be an Oasis song)

"AKA...What A Life!"

"Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks"

"AKA...Broken Arrow"

"(Stranded On) The Wrong Beach"

"Stop The Clocks" -- (that sounds familiar!)

Here's hoping that Noel's solo work is as good as Liam's debut album with Beady Eye.

I'm a bit skeptical based on those last two Noel-heavy Oasis albums.

Just being an honest fan...
