This new Frankie Rose single is about as far from the Vivian Girls stuff as you can get. Sounding a little like Martha Davis and The Motels, Frankie offers up the first single from her 2026 album, Hila.
"Cant Be Wrong" is a languid vamp, one with a lot of Eighties synths in it. It's a simple melody but a haunting one. If this isn't quite the indie that Frankie Rose first started out with, that's okay but it's still sort of cool.
Cant Be Wrong" by Frankie Rose is out now, complete with the missing apostrophe in the song title, and Hila will be out in October.
