VIDEO PREMIERE: "Speed Date" By The Tammy Shine (Dressy Bessy, The Apples in Stereo)

Tammy Ealom from Dressy Bessy is back with a new band called The Tammy Shine and I'm thrilled to present the group's new video today. This is high-octane alt-rock, and a whole lot of fun.

"Speed Date" is from The Tammy Shine's upcoming album, due later this month. The tune roars like early Veruca Salt mixed with a bit of The Romantics and 20/20. This is part power pop and part modern glam, almost. Tammy Ealom called the music of Dressy Bessy clutter punk and that term fits too. Joined by her husband and Dressy Bessy bandmate John Hill (The Apples in Stereo), Tammy cranks up up and cuts loose. The combination of hooks, fuzz, and energy is still a potent one in the hands of musicians who know what to do with it.

Ok Shine Ok by The Tammy Shine will be out on February 20 via HHBTM Records.
