We kinda of loved the last album from Special Friend here, and so it's good to know they'll be returning this year with a new one. The lead single made its debut this week and it's the best two minutes of time you'll spend listening to something new this week, I think.
"Breakfast" finds the French and American duo conjuring up vibes like early Stereolab singles with a little extra feedback and fuzz in the hook. The tune is light, breezy, and all kinds of energetic. I dig it!
