As Doves prep a tour and an upcoming best of collection, the Manchester outfit has dug up a real gem. "Spirit of Your Friend" has all the things we love about this band, only turned up to 11.
Recorded for 2009's Kingdom of Rust, "Spirit of Your Friend" is surging and anthemic. It's a kick in the arse for those who've forgotten just how wonderful this band's material is. It's also a teaser for the band's upcoming compilation, So, Here We Are: Best of Doves. Until that drops next month, tag along with the trio here in this vid and turn it up.
