Australian musician Harriette Pilbeam, AKA Hatchie, is here with a shimmering bit of sonic goodness. This is the first taste of her new record in November and it's a delight.
Produced by Jay Som, "Only One Laughing" sounds a lot like Harriet Wheeler and The Sundays, as well as Frente! and Angie Hart. The Australian singer might like that last comparison. The new record is called Licorice and it will be out in November.
