Teddy Robin Retrospective At The Grand In Kowloon
After his triumphant performance in 2010's Gallants, there seems to be a recent upsurge of interest in the career of the versatile Teddy Robin. The talents of the producer/director/actor/composer will be highlighted with screenings of 7 films during an upcoming retrospective.
Teddy Robin will soon be in a new film from director Barbara Wong (The Allure Of Tears) but, in the meantime, you can familiarize yourself with his work at The Grand in Kowloon.
I literally just bought a copy of the once-rare Banana Cop (1984) yesterday, and I'm very excited to see that The Story Of Woo Viet (1981) is on the bill.
If you're in Hong Kong, be sure to visit The Grand at Kowloon's Elements mall for this series of films in February.
